Kevin Waters
CEO
As a Gardena native, Kevin experienced firsthand the obstacles in the underserved communities of LA county. Being exposed to gangs at an early age Kevin's life took a turn from being a dedicated student in gifted programs to serving 25 years of incarceration.
While incarcerated Kevin wrote many self-help books, mentored individuals, obtained a degree in Psychology, and became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Because of his journey, Kevin's mission is to give individuals as many opportunities as they are willing to take to get back on their feet. Kevin is passionate about the work that he does within the community and continues being an advocate for those who need a second chance.

Preston Dagons, Jr.
COO
Preston Dagons grew up playing competitive sports and missed his opportunity to play professionally when he committed a crime and found himself in state prison at the age of 24. Preston allowed his frustration and disappointment with himself to fuel his desire for self-discovery. This put him on a path to explore a level of spiritual and emotional development that would make him a sought out leader in his new community.
Preston eventually became a lead mentor in a peer mentorship program while pursuing his education and obtained his Associates of Arts Degree. His education continued upon his release and he was able to attain a Masters Degree in Psychology. Preston’s education and lived experience in the reentry field was a catalyst for his decision to co-found Dream Live Hope Foundation.
